Hulk and Shield Colorby ~matthewchilders

This is kind of loosely colored. I normally want to incorporate more rendering in my color but end up either with not enough time to do so or just with the feeling that it would make it too complicated. The idea was that the Hulk would be reflected in Captain America's shield. The concept seemed sound in sketch form but when I actually started adding color I really fought with the red white and blue on his shield totally making it confusing when it mixed with the color of the Hulk... I wanted Hulk to be the focus.. and Cap to be kind of a framing element... but the shield colors competed. It took a while to find just the right balance that I liked.
